I need to xfer a registration of my domain from a former hosting service to you (Winhost). Please read the following excerpt of an email to me from the former host. There are two different things. You "registered" the domain through us originally, and that's why you got the email - your one year registration is about to expire. You also were "hosting" the domain/site through us but you canceled your hosting with us and started hosting with someone else. So what you now need to do is contact whoever is hosting your site now and ask them about renewing the domain through them (which is essentially transferring the registration to them). Normally a person would transfer the registration at the same time they change the hosting, but it seems you never did that. Please initiate the transfer through them and, when they ask, we can generate an approval key for them to use. Can you please inform me how I can get this process completed?
