I have a primary account, with primary domain at winhost, lets call it acme.com. I also have multiple subdomains, lets say marketplace.acme.com, otherapp.acme.com In addition, I am also having domain pointers under the same account, lets say codehub.net, bumblebee.co.uk, etc. So in the above example, I've given 5 different domains; When I get the SSL cert, can a) one cert cover all domains, subdomains, and domain pointers, b) do I need 5 separate certs for each domain ? c) something else altogether, what do you suggest? And the follow up question is does winhost allow multiple SSL certs under the one account ?
Yes. It's called a Multi-Domain SSL Certificate. We don't sell those, but you can purchase one through a 3rd party vendor. And I'm afraid we don't support multiple SSL Certificates installed under one account.
That answers it, thanks. I guess it should be a FAQ somewhere on your knowledge base, someone else will repeat the question !
