Now that SQL Server 2012 RTM has been released, is there an expected timeline or roadmap for supporting SQL Server 2012 on Winhost servers?
There is not a timeline. From what we understand, Microsoft RTM'd SQL 2012 but its still not generally available. We are trying to get the RTM so our team can test it out. We also will need to get servers ready, build out all the tools in the control panel, build out the automated provisioning with the plans, update the website, train the staff, write up as many knowledge base posts as we can...etc. This is what our people will be busy with this month. We want to roll it out as soon as possible but there is still a lot of work to do. So we can't give you any date yet.
