mysql database - security privileges

I am just setting up my site ....
When my application tries to connect to a mysql database, even for a simple read operation I get the following:

The application attempted to perform an operation not allowed by the security policy. To grant this application the required permission please contact your system administrator or change the application's trust level in the configuration file.

Could you please tell me what I need to do to overcome this...
