I plan to move two domains and have some questions... They are separate ASP.net Apps but share the same back end SQL 2008 DB. We also have sub domains for testing e.g. application.com and test.application.com Is that suported ? What access do we get to directly manipulate SQL DB. e.g. for running script to create objects or extracting data via a query directly (e.g. the SQL management tools )
Yes, sub-domains are supported, and you can use SQL Server Management Studio to manage your database.
Do we have an option to setup under a different domain to initially migrate and test the new infrastructure ?
Yes. Each site is assigned an alternative URL which you can access before you point your domain over to our server.
Thanks I see a lot of information in the Knowledge base etc. On pricing windows 2008/SQL and ASP.net 3.5 is covered by the basic plan cost or is ASP.NET extra per month ?
