i registered a domain with godaddy and need to use Winhost as the hosting service. What are the steps i must take to do so?
If you want to move the domain to Winhost, check out this video. If you want to keep the domain at GoDaddy, all you need to do is log in to your GoDaddy account and change the name servers for the domain to these: ns1.Winhost.com ns2.Winhost.com ns3.Winhost.com
ok i changed the nameservers and the ip address. I did this yesterday but for some reason my ftp will still not connect to the server. How much longer will it take to propagate?
From my past experience with GoDaddy, it takes about 24 hours before the name server switch takes effect.
