Hosting sub-domains

Hi,

I only want to host a sub-domain of mine at Winhost.
My main site is hosted elsewhere. I want to carve out a sub-domain and host it at Winhost. I just want http working for <subdomain>.<maindomain>.com.

Is that possible? How would I do that?

Yes, you can still register a subdomain for the Site Account. The registration process will throw a warning but you can continue and it will register the Site account with a subdomain name.

 

Thanks Ray. I already registered. Is there a way to go in and change it?

 

Once the domain name is provisioned with the site it cannot be changed. You will need to order a new site account with the correct domain/subdomain name and cancel the old site account.
