General Q

  1. Hi, thinking of bringing my site here. I need a windows server.

    Q. I have a GeoTrust SSL Cert on my current DNS site to be moved. I would like to know if I can transfer it if I come here. I doesn't expire until next year.

    And, how would I do that. Are there any instructions or can I get help through support. Can I do it through this hosting or do I do it through GeoTrust. I assume my other host I am leaving would not be real happy and don't know how much support they would provide.

    I think it is a Quick SSL. I want my entire site to be SSL secure (https) and will that level of certificate do the job.

    Yes you can use an existing ssl cert with our hosting platform. However, we do recommend re-keying your cert so that your private key is not with multiple hosts. To re-key, you would work with Geotrust and provide them with the CSR generated from the Winhost control panel. Here are some knowledge base articles:
