I have 4 websites that I update at the same time with the same set of files. I want to automate that with an FTP script. However, windows ftp while it supports mput does not successfully work for me. I keep getting errors, "Error opening local file ...., so it many cases the files in the folder are not updated. Any suggestions? Are is there a free ftp which can be scripted to upload folders and subfolders?
Not sure if this would work but can you try running the program with elevated privileges? In other words "Run as Administrator".
