DROID X can send but not receive email

    I have a new DROID X smart phone. I have gmail and Yahoo mail both running fine. I have setup my personal smtp/pop email and can send email but not receive email.

    My email works with Outlook, and via web mail, but not with the Droid X.

    Any one have any ideas?

    POP: mail.mydomain.net port 110
    usr/pw: [email protected] / mypw

    DroidX wants Imap not pop

    I fixed my issue. DroidX wanted imap with default port.Now incoming email is being received properly and smtp sends email fine.

    Yeah smart phones is really hard to troubleshoot because it has all kinds different points of failure. And unfortunately in order for one to become an expert on it, you really need to purchase the device and learn it. I'm afraid my own financial budget prevents me from doing it. But since you have the Droid X, maybe you can become our forum expert on it.

    Yeah, thanks for posting the follow-up. I think we'll see more Droid issues as time goes on.
