Subdomains by default in IIS 7 which is setup as a shared hosting environment points to the root of the Site Account. If you want your subdomain name to open up its own website, first you will need to create a subfolder using FTP. Then upload the web pages to that subfolder. Once that is done, setup a redirects script so that subdomain name gets redirected to that subfolder/web page. http://support.Winhost.com/KB/a649/how-to-redirect-a-subdomain-to-a-subdirectory.aspx
The server_name in the kb article is a left as is. It is a server variable that returns the servers host name. http://www.w3schools.com/asp/coll_servervariables.asp This is a ASP script so there really is not C# version with it. Simply add it to the top of your page and it should work find with your C# application. You can also use the IIS 7 URL Rewrite Module. Try looking at this link. http://weblogs.asp.net/owscott/arch...-hosting-multiple-domains-under-one-site.aspx

Try using the IIS URL Rewrite for this. Here are some links to get you started. http://forum.Winhost.com/showthread.php?t=8403&highlight=URL+rewrite http://support.Winhost.com/KB/a628/using-the-microsoft-iis-70-manager.aspx http://weblogs.asp.net/owscott/arch...-hosting-multiple-domains-under-one-site.aspx
