Webmatrix support

Hey

i tried to upload my site through ftp on webmatrix and i got an error when trying to publish the site when checking for the asp.net version

the error was: checked if the sites application pool has the correct version of ASP.NET and pipeline mode. webmatrix tries to adjust these values as needed.

if you do not see 'available', please try changing the application pool's ASP.NET version and pipeline mode using your hosting providers control panel.


I checked to see if my asp.net version and pipeline mode was set correctly and it was.

any ideas, i googled it and it said that it's an issue with the hosting provider :S

Try it again. From time to time we'll need to recycle the service.

 

I forgot about this, I've been so busy lately.

I tried it again and I got the exact same error, is there a setting in IIS or something that I need to check?

 

Try opening a ticket to support and see if they can recycle the remote service manager for you.

 

In WebMatrix go the Site/Settings.

You will see the .NET version.

I was able to deploy after I selected .NET 4.0 Integrated

 

Yeh i tried that as well, it didn't change anything but it's fine i just used web deploy and it worked fine thanks anyway.
