Regarding the post on the Outage forum with the above Title, what was the cause for the high cpu and memory utilization? This did effect by website and cause support calls. How will this be prevented from happening in the future?
It can't be prevented from happening in the future. Resource usage is generally predictable, but occasionally spikes happen for any number of reasons. That's unavoidable in a shared hosting environment. It was just a coincidence that three servers had resource issues at roughly the same time. The incidents were unrelated.
