   Since I have had my site running on win hosts I have a series of characters in my url.
   
   My URL is www.apgnetwork.com but when you navigate to this it has a string within brackets in the url eg http://www.apgnetwork.com/(S(1p1ik1vlrplvajjs42ajinio))/Default.aspx
   
   I have no idea what this is, any ideas?

   That URL randomization is not caused by the server, you should check your application(s).
