I have an account here. I've got my main website up and running. Today I transferred the DNS from another domain I have to here. I went the through the steps setup in https://support.Winhost.com/kb/a113...under-one-site-account.aspx?KBSearchID=561556. I believe I followed all of the directions. 1) Configured sub-directory 2) Added Domain Pointer 3) Accomplished the Redirect using http://weblogs.asp.net/owscott/arch...-hosting-multiple-domains-under-one-site.aspx So things look good. I checked on the DNS settings and they are correct, using https://www.whatsmydns.net/ Don't know what else to do. Suggestions? Thanks Craig
So you're still seeing the old location on the domain that you're now pointing to us? When did you update the DNS settings? That propagation map doesn't take local or ISP caches into account, so if the DNS change was recent you may just have to wait it out. If it's been more than 12 hours since you updated the DNS you may want to open up a support ticket and they'll help you troubleshoot.
It's funny, isn't it, DNS propagation is so fast now and our expectations have changed. 20 years ago - even 10 years ago - we used to tell people that it would take 24 to 72 hours. If it takes half that time now we know something is broken.
