Problem getting setup

  1. I am new to Winhost, and I am trying to find my way around. With other hosts you can set the sub domain stuff through the control panel, but now I need to write code. Not liking this. Don't mind the code writing part, but it means restructuring my folders

Here is the issue I am having. I have been creating folders, and sub folders, for example productA/ProductADev I then place my asp.net app in the ProductADev folder. When I try to run the application, i get an error: virtual directory not being configured as an application in IIS.

I have been trying to find a way to specify a folder as an asp.net app, but with no luck. Can someone please help me out

  2. You're looking for the Application Starting Point tool in Control Panel. Here it is.
