After installing phpBB, it notifies me that I need to change the permissions on config.php. Here is the specific message: Your config file (config.php) is currently world-writable. We strongly encourage you to change the permissions to 640 or at least to 644 (for example: chmod 640 config.php). Obviously these are not *nix servers, so I can't chmod. I tried to set the permission via FTP, but that didn't work. I couldn't find anywhere in IIS to set the permission on the file. Can someone tell me how to remove "Everybody" from having write access? Thanks, Phil
I think the warning is inaccurate. the file is writeable by the aspnet user and your account. If you want to change permission, you'll have to open a support ticket.
