This is probably a dumb question. How do I renew my domain-name and site-bandwidth stuff with you? (This is my first renewal). I have signed into the control panel, and can't work it out. I want to get: One year of bandwidth. Two years of domain name. Also, I have about 1 month to go on my present year. Will my domain name and bandwidth be started from the date I renew, or the date my old year expires? Also, next year can I buy 1 year of name and 1 year of bandwidth (ie keeping my domain name roughly a year ahead each time)?
You can make the site renewal payment here. You renew domains here. From the date your old year expires, even if you renew in advance. Domain renewal is only available for a certain period before expiration (I think it's 60 days, maybe someone can correct me if I'm wrong). That means if you renew your domain for 2 years now, you wouldn't be able to extend that a year from now. You'd have to wait until 60 days before it was due to expire to add more time. But you can renew a domain registration for up to 9 years when it comes due, so it's pretty flexible.
