Several months ago I purchased a Winhost account to build a website. It had been many years since I first built a site, and other than using online templates, I have been out of touch with what is now reality. I do not consider myself ignorant, but have to admit, I have no idea where to even start with Winhost. I feel it is most likely more complicated than I have the time to commit. I would appreciate any suggestions from someone with knowledge as to what my next step should be. I am considering........ 1 Canceling Winhost and just using a template from godaddy 2 Paying someone else to build a web template for me to use 3 Just forgetting the entire thing as It's more trouble than I care for. So far I am leaning towards option 2, but would love some recommendations, and ideas as far as what a budget should be. Hopefully, I am not abusing the use of this forum, This is my first view and attempt to use it.
Hi cmatt, We all started at one point so I understand were you're coming from. Here at Winhost we provide our customers with a Application Installer in the control panel to install any web applications we have listed in this installer. Majority of them require you to connect them with a SQL or MySQL database in order for them to work correctly. My question is what type of site you wish to have / do for you? Do you want to sell items online? Do you want to start your own blog?
