Need Help Getting A Site Back Up

Discussion in 'Site Programming, Development and Design' started by JakeDeGreat, Sep 12, 2011.

  1. I have officially learned the meaning of "No Good Deed Goes Unpunished". Can someone help me get my friend's site back up and running? Her hosting company went broke recently. She was able to salvage all of her files but didn't know how to get her site back up. I offered to get her a hosting company (went with Winhost after getting a ton of recommendations on it). Her site is .NET. I have no skill set whatsoever to get this site up and going.

Can someone help me get the site up? She has an event in two weeks and she wanted to make sure that people could go to her site beforehand. Just message me if you think you can help.

    The site is www.summerleedesigns.com

    Thanks,
    J

If you are using Visual Studio 2010 or Visual Web Developer 2010, there is a feature called Add Deployable Dependencies. When you use this tool, Visual Studio ensures all dependencies required to run your application is uploaded to the web server and in your Applications Bin folder.
