how long does it take for an updated name servers to take effect?

    Hi:
    We have a domain name that was hosted by Yola. Now we want to move it to Winhost.

    I logged into Yola, and update the name servers to ns1.Winhost.com and ns2.Winhost.com

    how long would it normally take for this to take effect? Please advise.

    This can take 24 - 48 hours to complete but in most cases it only takes 1 - 3 hours.

    Hi, domain is pccsh.org

    Please check for me. How do you normally check , just ping the domain?

    We resolved your issue over our support portal.

    You were using our name servers but you didn't have a site account. Nor did you set up the domain name as a domain pointer.

    You resolve the issue by changing the domain name for the site account to the domain name you wished to use.

    Using something like this site will tell you the DNS your site uses: https://www.whatsmydns.net/#NS/pccsh.org
