  1. Hi

I am unale to receive emails but have no problem sending them.Have raised a ticket . How long do I wait for a esponse and can anyone help

  2. In my experience the support guys are pretty fast, 2 hours or so.

What I suspect your issue may be though is that you don't have a correctly configured MX record on your domain, to send out you just need an smtp server that can access the internet. To receive though, your domain must have an MX record that directs mail to your server.

If your domain is registered with Winhost, it looks like it's automatic.
My domain is registered elsewhere, but I delegated the nameservers to Winhost. In the Winhost control panel I changed the MX record to point to my own mail server so my Winhost mail doesn't receive.

Also, it looks like they're having some technical difficulties right at the minute, most of my control panel throws an error (yes, support ticket logged!)

Most of the time the customer hasn't move the domain name over to our DNS server. You may want to check the Whois public database and check where the name servers are pointing to.
