Hello, When uploading to a new website, can i just upload the files to the root path "/" folder or do I need to create a new folder/ Any help would be gratefully appreciated. Thanks, Tony
That really depends on how your site is set up or what you intend to do with it in the future. But to answer your question, you can certainly upload files to the root directory of the site. Or to a new directory. Either will work, the URL for the files in the subdirectory will just have a directory path in them (http://HostingAccountDomain.com/subdirectory/file.aspx).
