Anybody has a good suggestion for CC payments?

What is the best method to accept recurring payments by credit/debit cards online that is cost effective for a startup company?

 

Can you be a little more specific on exactly what your website will be doing?

 

We have a desktop application that we are planning to sell as "Software As Service". Users pay for this service online using their credit/debit cards. It should allow monthly recurring payments until they cancel their subscription to the service, at which time they no longer be able to login to their desktop application.

Thanks Ray! The second link actually requires Paypal Wesite Pro account, which has a monthly fee. PaySimple also requires a monthly fee. I was wondering, if there is any other gateways that don't require monthly payments, as I don't know the sales volume yet.
