I just discover that the folders on my site can be accessed by everybody. How can I prevent this ? I uploadxmy files through net2ftp.net but could not find any option to put access restriction
You can't prevent them from reading your root. The root must have read permissions or the secondary FTP user won't be able to connect to your site via FTP. But you can set it so they only have read and write access to a sub-directory.
