H! I've seen other posts on how to set up custom error pages using IIS7 management tool. I have custom error page Error.aspx available. however, i can't seem to get it to work correctly. Does it have to be html page? I've tried setting full server path to this file. When I save, Type is set to File. I've tried other options but automatic redirect doesn't work. any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
No, it can be a .aspx page. You use customErrors for classic .asp pages. You use httpErrors for the newer .NET (.aspx) pages, if my memory serves me correctly.
