I also am concerned about DB size. I manage several real estate sites and have SQL databases containing the local MLS data. Currently in MS SQL 2005, the database size is 97 MB. In the spring, when many homes hit the market, it breaks 100MB. I assume from previous posts that I would be better off with the max plan. That (finally) leads to my question of - is that 5 databases of 100MB each or can I have one DB of 500MB??

With the Max plan, you control the database number and the database size. You have 500mb of sql disk space. You can divide it however you wish. you can have one db that's 500mb, or have 5 that are 100mb. It's up to you.

What if I need more than 500MB?

Is there a way to pay for more DB disk space if requried?

  4. No, I am afraid that we do not currently offer additional space for an extra charge.

Any plans to offer this option in the future?

  6. We are considering an option to accommodate users who need more resources, but I can't say when or if it will be implemented. For the time being it's safe to assume that what you see is what you get, and the offering will not be changing any time soon.
