Hello, I am runnig NopCommerce 2.65 and I am hosting with Winhost on the Max plan. I keep getting this error, We're sorry, an internal error occurred that prevents the request to complete. Our supporting staff has been notified with this error and will address this issue shortly. We profusely apologize for the inconvenience and for any damage this may cause. You might want to try the same action at later time. and url I get is something like this, errorpage.htm?aspxerrorpath="namehere" I contacted support and they say that it looks like it could be a memory issue. In that I may be maxing out the 200mb application pool that the max plan has and when I reach the max, the application recycles itself and then causing the error. I have had the site up for a few days now and this only started happening yesterday. They say that I could upgrade to the Ultimate plan and that could fix the problem as it has 300mb for the application pool, but no guarantees as they can't tell me how much I am using and instructing me on how to find out is out the realm of support. They suggested asking for help on the forums. Another option that was suggested was doing a sql session database and they can then store the sessions in this dedicated database and everything else can go in another database, but in doing this it can really hurt the speed and performance of your site. I only know basic IIS, and hoping someone who has experience with NopCommerce and Winhost can help on how to resolve this issue! Thanks
First try this: If you are on our Windows 2012 IIS 8 and have NopCommerce Version 2.65 installed. Try setting the application trust level to Full. You can read our knowledge base article on how to do this here: http://support.Winhost.com/KB/a657/changing-the-default-aspnet-trust-level.aspx If that doesn't work then do this: The error page you are referring to is a custom error page that came with NopCommerce. The custom error page isn't very helpful because it doesn't say what exactly the real error is. Try disabling the custom error page to get the real error message. I found this forum post on NopCommerce web site that shows you how to disable the custom error page here: http://www.nopcommerce.com/boards/t...-exception-handling-message-notification.aspx Once you have disabled the custom error page. Provide us with the real error message please.
I went ahead and upgraded to the ultimate plan as that was suggested by support to resolve the issue as I was going over the 200mb allocated memory. I am on 2008 not 2012 plan. So far the upgrade seems to working, but should the errors start again I will let you know. Thanks
If the error happens again then please provide us with the real error message so we can get a better idea of whats going on
