Orchard with App Installer not working

    thanks for your time, I loaded orchard into the root. I assuming that I then get to the first admin screen but it always fails with 404.

    thank you for consulting my thread in 'support' "363-179BF​DBB-023D".

    I think I loaded a 'virgin' 1.4.2 orchard - at least when checking with FileZilla it looks like!

    I'm not saying that something is wrong on my side ... I just can't see it.

    AND, my old site is down since one day ... thanks for your help

    I forgot to change from Classic to Integrated app pool.

    Hi ed,

    I remember when you opened the ticket and the issue was hard to trouble shoot because your site wasn't pulling up at all. The HTTP header was responding 404 not found.

    After doing some trouble shooting on my end I found that you were running the application pool on classic mode. Changed it to Integrated mode and it started working :D

    So if you are running Orchard. Please make sure you run it on Integrated mode or you will find the same error.

    Hope this helps other people that find the same error. ;)
