I have a few questions on the MAX Web Hosting Plan 1) Does having a SQL server db cost any extra than the monthly fee? 2) Can you use access File extension .accdb? 3) Do you have a way to run scheduled task at a certain time every day/week etc? 4) Do you allow Web developer Express 2010 for Visual Basic? 6) What does it take to move a web domain already in use on another hosting company?
1) No. 2) Yes. .accdb are Access 2007/2010 files. You can just upload them. 3) Yes, but this is only offered under the Ultimate plan. 4) You can use any Visual Studio development product of your choice (i.e. 2005, 2008, 2010). Please note that although it may work in your local environment, you may need to make some configuration changes when you upload your application (e.g. database connection strings, web.config file, etc.) 5) Please read our Knowledge Base article on how to transfer your domain.
On my hosting site that I currently use, I can have unlimited FTP accounts to all my different sub domains. Is that possible for the this web hosting company? I see in the Ultimate properties: FTP Users = 30. Does that just mean you can only give 30 users access and can have unlimited actual FTP accounts for those 30 users?
So I can have 30 FTP names/accounts to log in via Visual web developer for each sub domain? Also, what time zone do you host in?
30 per site. Not per subdomain, as your subdomains would be part of a single site. The servers are in the Pacific time zone.
