How do I point www.albezuta.com to Default.aspx?

Discussion in 'General troubleshooting' started by albezuta, Sep 1, 2011.

  1. I managed to do it with IIS7 and now albezuta.com works fine, but what should I do about www.albezuta.com now? Thanks in advance.

  2. Hello albezuta, you just need to add a new SiteBinding in order to point www.albezuta.com to your site.
In IISManager select your website and look for "Bindings..." in the EditSite menu (on the right) or right click your website and select "Edit Bindings..."
The SiteBindings window will appear and here you need to add a new binding to your site. Enter "www.albezuta.com" in the Hostname field.
This panel is also used to create the bindings for the https in case you need that too.

Please let me know if you have any problems with this

  3. I don't have SiteBinding option in Action pane at top right corner. I'm sure I ran IIS7 as admin and couldn't find the option.:(

  4. Never mind, I just checked my site again, it worked all of sudden. I have no idea what happened. Thanks for your help anyway :D

  5. Incorrect.

www is automatically set up as a subdomain in a site's DNS when we create the site. It looks to me like this was a default document issue...
