WWW in Front of Webpage

currently my webpage doesn't show the "www." in front. Is there some forwarding involved? If so how?

 

By default your domain is set up to respond with or without www.

 

I'd like to have my webpage have the "www." in front of it. Even if I type in www.mywebsitename.com it redirects me to mywebsitename.com.

Additional info: the website has a domain pointer to it, the domain pointer website shows the www in front of it but not the main website. I turned off the domain pointer and the main website shows the www in front again.
