Hi, I have uploaded files to my site and need to check their permissions. I am using IIS manager 7.0 but can't find how to set them. Is there a plug-in for IIS manager missing? Is there another option for checking permissions. Thank you
I read some posts which said you can control the permissions. I was actually wanting to check that ASP .NET had read and write access to all of my directories and files for dotnetnuke. How do I go about doing this?
By default your accounts ASPNet IUSR will already have full Read/Write permission to your root and any folders and fles you upload to the root. Unfortunately like I stated before you will not see the ACL because it will require you get adminsitrative rights to the web server, and since this is a shared hosting environment it can jeopardize the security of the other accounts.
