Web Deploy in Web Matrix

Hi there,

I'm trying to upload a Drupal Website created in Web Matrix. I used the "Site from Web Gallery" feature in Web Matrix and selected Drupal 7.

Now, I'm trying to publish it to Winhost using the Web deployed but I get an error: "Unable to establish connection".

This are my settings:
Protocol: Web Deploy
Server Name: https://w03.Winhost.com:8172/MsDeploy.axd
Username: mdrfitco (is this the same as the FTP?)
Password: *******
Site Name: mdrfit.com
Destination URL: http://mdrfit.com

Database string: data source=tcp:s02.Winhost.com;initial catalog=DB_23646_mdrfit;user id=DB_23646_mdrfit_user;password=*****;integrated security=False

I followed these instructions but I can't get it to publish.

If you haven't already done so, I suggest you open a ticket to our support for this issue.

 

you need to add ".com" to your user name and you probably want to add a "www." to the destination URL

 

Actually that is not correct. You do not add the .com for the user name. No FTP user name will have a .com on them.
