Using Asp.Net OpenAuth?

Discussion in 'Site Programming, Development and Design' started by busywww, Jul 29, 2013.

  1. Is it possible to use DotNetOpenAuth on the IIS7 web site with .Net 4.x version?
As I have a plan for Google user login options in the future, I like to make sure if openauth is supported in my plan.
FYI, currently, my site/plan is configured as IIS7 and 4.x version.
Or, do I need to upgrade to the .Net 4.5 server?
Then, how do I upgrade/change my plan to the .net 4.5 server?

    Thanks in advance.

  2. Yes it is possible to use DotNetOpenAuth on IIS 7 servers with .NET 4.X (4.0), so you shouldn't need to migrate to a IIS 8 server.

However if you want to migrate to a IIS 8 server simply open up a ticket with the Support Department.

  3. Thanks for the answer !!!
