www.frogshollow.com I have wordpress in a directory /wordpress - I need to know a very simple way to have it start automatically when I enter www.frogshollow.com. I have tried a index.php but that does not seem to work : I was wondering if .htaccess was what is needed and if so what would be the contents and would it go in the root. Thanks in advance - I really need some help with this now.
I have added a .htaccess to the root directory : but it still does not load : all I see is the root directory. frogshollow.com
.htaccess won't do anything on an IIS server. Check out this Knowledge Base article on redirecting to a subdirectory. It's talking about redirecting a subdomain, but the concept is the same for redirecting your primary domain. You might also want to search the forum here for "redirect." There is more than one way to skin that cat.
