SQLServer Temporary tables and database size

how does it works when ai need create a large temporary table.

The space limit is the same that i already had or there is another counter to control this situation.

I did some tests and the "data size" doesn't change when i added a bunch of rows in a temporary table.

I'm executing the command "sp_spaceused", and the information doesn't change when I add a lot of rows in a temporary table.
