Setting up Email on a Windows Phone

Looking for info on setting up a newly released Windows Phone 7 to downoad mail into my phone.

I followed posted instructions but am getting an Error regarding an invalid certificate Error Code 80072f06.

If I turn off SSL Required, I get a message that Windows Phone doesn't support this server version.

I also read that you have to turn on Exchange Sync but can't find the place to do this.

As a brief summary, here is what I am using. I would think that some sort of white paper would be very useful for such a topic.

For User Name, I've got my email address.

For Password, using my password that I use for webmail

Domain is blank

Server is mail.mydomain.com

 

Exchange Sync is not installed on SmarterMail. But you should be able to setup your Windows Phone to connect to your POP accounts using the POP3 connections. The values will be similar to setting up Outlook.
