Hi, I have been trying to set up a download directory. But after creating a user name, the directory remains for the whole site showing all the site directory instead of the one I browsed to on the direction link. How do I set up an FTP user to download only the video file I am putting up for sale? Can someone take me through all the steps needed to set up the above download page link that uses ftp for downloading products? Thanks in advance
This Knowledge Base article shows you how to set up additional FTP users: http://support.Winhost.com/KB/a669/how-to-create-an-additional-ftp-user.aspx I'm afraid you can only set permissions on a single directory. You won't be able to set permissions on a file-level basis. The additional FTP user will have access to that directory and everything under it.
