Can anyone help with passing the connectionstring in visual studio 2008. I am using SQL Server 2008 this is what i am doing Imports System.Data Imports System.Data.OleDb Imports System.Data.SqlClient Dim conUser As New ADODB.Connection() Dim cmdUser As New ADODB.Command() Dim rsUser As New ADODB.Recordset() Dim strConnectionString As String = "" strConnectionString = "Provider=SQLOLEDB;Data Source=tcp:s02.Winhost.com;Initial Catalog=Databasename;User ID=my_user;Password=mypassword;Integrated Security=False;" conUser.Open() and then i get the following error message: "Multiple-step OLE DB operation generated errors. Check each OLE DB status value, if available. No work was done." I would appreciate anyone's help
