Hi, What is max_execution_time for php on the Winhost site? Can I alter this within a php script? Can I alter this for my personal site from a command line? What happens in the latter case if the server reboots? Jon PS. I have just found ini_set("max_execution_time", 300) for a 5 min guaranteed running time in a php script. Are there any other limits that would effect this?
You can set this in the user.ini file. See our blog: http://blog.Winhost.com/user-ini-custom-php-settings-for-your-site/ But it cannot exceed 5 minutes because of another limitation. So you can set it to a lower value.
