MS Chart (System.Web.DataVisualization.dll) Question

Has MS Chart been installed on the Winhost servers, or do we need to place System.Web.DataVisualization.dll in our web's bin directory?

Are there any issues associated with placing System.Web.DataVisualization.dll (version 3.5.30729.116) in my web's bin directory? I am using .Net 3.5 in my web.

 

No, the MS Chart component was not installed on the servers GAC. It is Bin deployable so you should be able to upload it to your applications Bin folder.

As far as I know this should not be a problem as long as you got the correct version uploaded to your Bin folder and the application is referencing the correct version.
