Has anyone had success using url-rewrites for subdomains?

Has anyone successfully used the URL Rewrite for redirecting visitors to sub domain directories and ensuring that the url's presented to the user still show the original sub domain?

you must first have your sub-domains added from the CP, if you do that, all of those will simply point at the root, so you have to make rewrite rules.

 

You may want to look at this KB article. It gives an example on how to hard code a redirect script fo subdomain names.
