Does your SQL Server 2008 Installation support Full-Text catalogs? If so, do I simply create the Catalogs in my DB, upload it, and good to go? Can I assume that the filter daemon host (FDHost) service is rurnning? Thanks, Marc
Our servers do support full text catalog but you cannot move it from your local database to our SQL server. You will need to restore the database to our SQL server and once that is competed, create the full text catalog from our SQL server. You can do this using SQL Server Management Studio. Make sure SSMS is connected to our SQL server.
