Email alias doesn't seem to work

  1. Hello,

I registered yesterday then looked to see if my domain name propagated and yes it seem since i can visit the construction page.

Ive setup an alias for "support" with an email adress that point to gmail. However, this doesn't seem to be forwarding at all when i send to support@(one of my two domain pointer, the first one is actual domain).

Anything i am doing wrong ?

    Thanks!

Did you send the test message using the same Gmail account? If so it might be possible why it didn't work. Gmail has this bug/or rule that doesn't allow this.

For example: Lets say you have a Gmail account called: [email protected]

You set up a email alias called [email protected] and it sends to [email protected]

You then use [email protected] to send to: [email protected]

    This will not work.

Try using a different Gmail account that is not being used as the forwarder.

Also make sure your domain pointer is using the correct MX records for our email server by doing a nslookup on the domain pointer.
