Domain Ownership

Discussion in 'Pre-sales questions' started by Kaihatsusha, Sep 10, 2010.

  1. Actually, I don't have much question now about your hosting, but most of my clients ask me.

So here it is. They want to register a particular domain, and since it is not yet registered at the moment, they are planning to register a domain at the same time host a website in Winhost server.

Then, what if (i also don't hope) one day, they decided to move to a new server, is it easy to point that to the new one.

Do they own the domain they register thru Winhost, 100%?

    Thanks!

If you register a domain name with us and you decide lately down the road to get another hosting provider, you will have the option in the control panel to point the name servers (DNS servers) to the new hosting provider. That way they can manage the DNS zone record for you.
