Currently in the MS SQL 2008 Database console view, the control panel only displays the maximum number of databases as well as the total quota. However, it would be nice if the control panel also displayed the remaining database space as well as the remaining number of databases that can be created directly in the "List of Databases" view. Currently, you can only see remaining quota information when attempting to add a brand new database.
Good news on this, the developers are going to add both of those to the database overview page. Can't say when that will roll out for sure, but it should be pretty soon.
This is done. There are now Maximum Databases and Total Quota values listed on the MS SQL 2008 page of Control Panel.
