which just forwards to the [email protected] ?

I have turned on the setting under Email Alias in the control panel in SitesList >> SiteManager>>DomainPointer for ecoecclesia.org I want to create an email for [email protected] that simply comes to [email protected] Possible?

 

i think Domain pointer email address will do it, no?

 

not sure what this means, however: "you must ensure that you remove any pre-existing MX records through the Control Panel DNS Manager to avoid possible conflicts with the Domain Pointer Email Alias service." Explain? Do I need to worry about that for the purposes I described in my first post here?

 

That just means if you have previously added MX records to the DNS for the domain you should remove them. If you haven't, or if you just added the domain pointer, the email aliases will work fine, just as you describe in your first post.
