Common Mistake

  1. Hi,
I see everywhere on the site you mention Microsoft SQL. Simply, Microsoft SQL does not exist; the right name of the product is Microsoft SQL Server.

  2. The common name for it by developers (aka: people that care about SQL Server) is simply MSSQL or Microsoft SQL.. so...

  3. Around here we call it SQL (pronounced like sequel), period.

But all of this sort of begs the question; is it Microsoft sequel Server, or Microsoft ess cue el Server?

And which is better anyway, PC or Mac? ;)

For the record, we also call "Microsoft .NET Framework" dot net, and when they do something crazy or release a weird or buggy product that causes us problems (you know, not that they ever would do something like that...) we call Microsoft --

Eh, on second thought, I'd better not say that one.
