Cname

  1. I am in your Control Panel and would like to add a CNAME. My question is what information do I need to add to the "Destination" and "TTL" fields?

    Thanks

If you only have one CName entry it really doesn't matter. The destination and TTL typically refers to the priority and caching time. For destination you can set it for 10 and for TTL set it for 3600.

    I'll have to correct you.

Destination is where you want the CName to resolve to.

Oh my fault on that one. I was completely thinking of the Priority setting.

  5. I'm having trouble using the CNAME thing. I am entering:

    Domain Name:
    sample.interporre.com

    Destination:
    http://www.interporre.com/services/sample/

    TTL: 3600

BUT, It always says that Destination value is "Invalid". No matter what I type in there.
